Callings
Callings are dispatches from the universe
about what work is yours to do.
Callings are your assignments for bringing light into the world.
Oh wait.
Here’s what they really are:
When you take the great love for all life,
when you take the great power of service
when you take the energy of the universe,
the desire to extend, expand, and amplify life
And filter it through the prism
of your gifts
your abilities
your circumstances
your opportunities to serve
what you get is
your calling.
Big love for all life,
the great love,
filtered through the prism of you.
Don’t want to miss out on that, do you?

Oh no we don’t 🙂
Wonderful post Tara, thank you!
I really love that image of ourselves as prisms, through which we filter our experiences to present our unique gifts to the world. This has really lifted me and amplified the meaning of your last post. Thanks for the clarity of your thoughts and your generous impulse to share.
Amen Tara.
Our calling is our passion. It’s divinely placed in our hearts and then becomes our gift to the world.

I love this Tara. It is joy distilled. I’ve been meaning to write and thank you for your posts. And your poetry. Insightful. Honest. Joy filled.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
