if you aren’t doing your thing because you aren’t “expert” enough…

By January 27, 2013 3 Comments

Last week I wrote here about how so many brilliant women are held back by the “but I’m not an expert” thing. That post resonated with so many of you. I loved your impassioned, heartfelt comments. And I told you I’d be writing more about this topic.

I have, and I’m excited to share with you this new post, published at the 99u.com site. I’m excited because it’s a practical guide to how you can get over the “but I’m not an expert” thing. You’ll learn the four types of authority you can have on your topic and identify which of the four you have.

Check it out the post HERE.

Love,

Tara

Tara, THANK YOU, for this most valued reminder. I’m currently writing a book proposal that I’m so very passionate about. Yet–from time-to-time–I fear I’m not the expert publishers will seek. What I need to realize is that my true passion for the subject matter and my ongoing dedication to this subject matter ARE what make me the “expert.” Joy + peace + thank you!!! T.
