By October 30, 2014 3 Comments

Good morning!

Some updates and announcements today:

1. The book! Playing Big is here, and I’m so happy to say, being met with rave reviews. Have you picked up your copy yet? Get it HERE.

2. I am HIRING a new business operations manager – a details-loving, systems-thinking, techie-grooving soul to join our team. Is that maybe you? More information is HERE.

3. Upcoming Events
I’ll be in Palo Alto this Sunday for a book event (get your spot HERE), and Austin, TX for the Texas Conference for women in a couple weeks (details HERE). Would love to meet you at one of these events!

4. And some easy listening…
I recently was on three wonderful podcasts – all are great resources for regular listening too.
Jonathan Fields’ Good Life Project
Todd Henry’s The Accidental Creative
Kimberly Wilson’s Tranquility du Jour

And if you missed them, here are a couple of my recent reflections:

On comparing ourselves to others
When people criticize my work

Sending love,

Tara

  • Tara you are amazing!
I love your layout, and content!
I hope to meet you in person one day.
    An incredible inspiration!

I second that,..you are amazing and incredible every day. Spiritual layout in place for your hiring needs……relaxation for the groove, within the groove when interviewing for this unique individual, they will come along and as far as public speaking engagements…you are doing great, when we asumme posistioning within the role we become this…the only other thing is that pop’d into my spirit…get ready and elevate to the next level…it could be interesting subject, or something else..only you will know what that elevated level is..on this path of being in a spirit expectation……

  • I just turned the last page of your book, having parceled out the first chapters so that I didn’t allow myself to move on until I had completed the exercises — only to rush through the last few chapters because I couldn’t stop reading. And now I’m feeling bereft, eager to reread it, discuss the questions, and find accountability partners and co-change agents, which leads me to contact you.

I’m keen to talk to other women similarly excited about what they’re learning, so are there plans to start a Facebook discussion group?

I know you’ve run these for your courses, but as there is no course on at the moment, I hope you’ll consider starting one for your readers. I appreciate moderating it would be too time-consuming, but simply putting your official stamp on it and publicising it on your blog would reach thousands.

Will you consider it? I’ll be happy to help if you need it. All the very best to you and thank you for such a tremendous book.

We are on a mission to help you realize your playing big dream.
